Halloween is a time for celebration for some, but for others Halloween is just another day. In my opinion, Halloween is just a day where people get free candy, and I sit at home and watch TV. If Halloween is a holiday, then why do we have school? Don’t we usually get all of the major holidays off? Considering that Halloween takes place at night, you wouldn’t think we’d have school on the holiday, or at least be two hours late the next. Nope. Instead, we have a full day of school on the 31st and a full day the next day. If it were up to me, which it never is, we would at least be two hours late on the Friday after. I guess it doesn’t really matter… I have to say, it is very fun to see all of the creative costumes that the children have. I love seeing the babies in their classic pumpkin costumes and all of the kids dressed as their “heroes.”
If you take part in this holiday, I hope you get as much candy as you possibly can. Of course, have a fun filled Halloween!
