Do you like a lot of homework everyday? I know I don’t. I like how pretty much everybody hates a lot of homework. Every teacher gives us homework on the same day, so our homework gets piled up. A lot of people don’t like so much homework every day. Students would like to have a break more often. Yes, we get having homework on the weekend, but they still give us homework to do on weekdays. Why can’t we just learn?
I swear, teachers get into a huddle after school or a meeting and say we all should have homework on this day and this day. No wonder why people are getting zapped if you are in a 9th or 10th grade class. In addition, with a lot of homework, people start losing their grades and they can’t play any sports. So, how are we not suppose to be fat or obese? Hey, there is one bad thing for the teachers; they have to grade it all.
Every student doesn't do their homework. Teachers need to give us a break. With all this homework, people start dropping out because they are failing all the time. Students will do anything to not get so much homework. I think teachers should have certain days to give us homework. If we keep on getting so much homework, students will just give up and not do anything.
With the certain days the students could focus on just the homework for that subject. Students should not have missing assignments. Especially if it is only one assignment, the students can just focus on that. If they do have a missing assignment, they will get detention. The students can study for the test on the same day. The teachers would like this too, so they don’t have as many assignments to correct. Students will not be failing as bad either.
