What is the first thing to pop in your head when you hear the word “Violin”?  Most of you will probably think of classical music right away or the instrument a lot of musical prodigies play. Well, in my case, I think of none other than Lindsey Stirling. Lindsey Stirling was born in September 26, 1986. She is a violinist/dancer and music composer. Her music is composed of an Electronic/Dubstep type with an awesome addition of violin added to it. The violin adds a different mood to the the music and gives an upbeat yet chill sound that will have you loving her music. Lindsey was a quarter-finalist in America’s Got Talent. There she was told she would not make it anywhere if she didn’t play in a group. That hurt her a little, but she got back and made more music which she uploaded to Youtube. My favorite songs by her are Crystalize and Shadows. Her music is not loud either, so it’s perfect if you want an upbeat studying music or just want to dance.
