Interviewing Ms. Seifert

1. What did you think about the first weeks of school?
It went well. Students & staff were ready to be back.


2. How has this school year been different from previous years?
Every year is different. Each grade has their own personalities. Every class is unique!


3. How long do you plan on teaching at SEPS?
She plans on retiring at the age of sixty-five.


4. Did you play any sports in High School?
She participated in track, volleyball, and basketball.


5. What’s your favorite kind of rock?
Her favorite rock is called a Stromatolite. (Primordial form of one celled fossil, earliest form of single-cell life on Earth). It looks like a red rose.


6. Do you have any pets, if so what kind and what are their names?
She has three dogs, two Minpins and one Rat Terrier. Their names are Tink, Roscoe P. Cole-train, and Rocky.


7. What’s the weirdest thing that’s happened in a lab?
Two girls had their burner start on fire from the bottom. The girls started freaking out and dancing around. After she came and fixed the problem, they did it again to record on their phones.


8. How many classes have watched October Sky?
At least five years of eighth graders, BUT IT’S A CLASSIC!


9. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
She would visit Great Britain, because she didn’t see enough the first time she was there.

10. What 5 words would you use to describe yourself?
The five words she would use to describe herself are; red, great dancer, rocks, humor, and grandma.
