Soccer Interview with Chris L.

1. How do you feel about being the only guy at Sleepy Eye High School to be on the New Ulm Boys Varsity Team?

-  I hope I can encourage more students to join soccer.

2. What year is this for you playing with the New Ulm soccer team?
-  This is my 10th year overall with New Ulm summer soccer and my 2nd year for New Ulm Eagles Soccer.

3. Was it easy for you to get along with the other boys on the team?
- I have been playing with most of them for a few years now, so I do get along with them.

4. Were you nervous to try out?
- I was not nervous. I just played how I usually played.

5. How did you feel when you found out Sleepy Eye was going to Co-op with NU for soccer?

- I was very excited! I’ve always wanted to be able to play for the fall team.

6. What position do you play?

- I play Mid-field.

7. What’s the furthest you have gone to play so far?

- The furthest we’ve played so far is Chaska, MN.

8. What is your favorite thing about Soccer?

- Way too many things.

9. What would you say to others who would like to join soccer?

-Try it. It could be a fun, new thing for you to try out. You could also make some new friends.

10. As of today how is the soccer team doing?
- We are 5-3. We will work harder to try and go far in the post-season.
