To start the 2014 school year, there is a bit of a change. All sophomores got their very own brand new iPad. Before we could get our iPads we had to go to a meeting explaining what we needed to know about them. They told us we could only download the apps they allowed us to, we SHOULD NOT leave them in our unlocked locker, and we had to buy insurance for them just in case something went wrong. The iPads took some getting use to at first. After the first week of school we learned how to use them and the apps we will use daily. We use our iPads in almost every class. Some of our books, and a majority of our homework is on them. I asked 5 students from the sophomore class and they all said they preferred iPads over no iPads. I think most of the class would say the same, which is good because we will have them until we’re seniors! Staff plan on getting another grade iPads each year until everyone has them.
