Chris L from Sleepy Eye High School was named to play in the 2014 Avera All-Star Classic Soccer Games. Chris is a member of the New Ulm Soccer program. The Games will be played November 3 at Mattke Field (Schwans Regional Event Center) on the campus of SMSU in Marshall. The boys game start at 8:00 P.M. after the girls game at 6 P.M.
How did you feel when you found out you were going to be playing at this game?Chris: I was very, very honored to be selected to play in the Avera All Star Classic Soccer Game. I was also very happy and excited! It should be fun to play with people from different teams in our conference. It is a good way to end the soccer season.
Who does this all involve?
Chris: I believe that they only pick seniors. Three of my teammates also got picked to play in the game. We get divided into East and West teams. I am part of the West team.
