The Atlanta Hawks have been the biggest surprise this season by far. The Hawks have gone from being a first-round playoff team, to having the most wins thus far in the NBA (38), and just trailing the Golden State Warriors (36-7) in record at 38-8. The Hawks share the ball very well and being second in the league in assists per game, is not easy to do. Atlanta also starts Al Horford at center, who is currently leading the NBA in rebounds per game. Furthermore, to tie that all together, starting shooting guard Kyle Korver is blowing out the competition in 3 point percentage, shooting 53.6% from deep, with Courtney Lee shooting 47% at second best, and Rasual Butler shooting 46.6% at third. The question still ponders me whether they are a championship team or not, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
