Band/ Choir Trip 2015 By: Francheska

This year, band and choir students had an opportunity to go to St. Louis, MO. It was a very fun trip with a lot to do. Band/choir students got to get coached by a band/ choir instructor for 45 minutes. After being coached, we had about an hour to go downtown and go wander about. A few of us decided to go eat; we chose to go to “Peacock Diner”, which was an amazing restaurant! Afterwards, we had to go and get on the coach bus to go to see the Arch “Gateway to the West”. We could see the arch from miles away, and once we got the chance to see it up front and actually touch the arch. It was pretty exciting. We got to actually go up and into the arch, so we had to wait in line for about 30 min. Then we got into little, tiny pods in which only five people could get in. We went up 630 ft in the air, and once we arrived to the top, you could see all of St. Louis; it was gorgeous! Later that day, we went on a dinner cruise on the river boats and it was fun! The next day we spent the rest of the day at Six Flags, which was really fun. There were many rides to go on. It was such a limited time in St. Louis, but it was a great, fun time with the people that went.
