Minnesota Wild Advance By: Kyle D

Over the past couple of weeks, the Minnesota Wild were playing the  St. Louis Blues in the first round of the playoffs. The series was fast pace and there was a lot of hitting. Every game ended with at least a differential of two goals. The Blues did not have the goal tending to stop the Wild players from scoring. Dubnyk was solid in net for Minnesota. When he had a bad game, he rebounded and played great. The series went into six games total. The first two were in St. Louis then came to Minnesota for the next two. The first four games got split 2-2. Game 5 was back in St. Louis. The Wild pulled out a win 4-1, now leading the series 3-2. Game six was at the Xcel Energy Center. The fans were ecstatic and hoped to pull out a win. The Minnesota Wild won 4-1 to move on to the second round. They will now have to play against the Chicago Blackhawks.
