Minnesota College Golf Team

The college golf season is one of the longest in college sports because teams play in tournaments in both the spring and fall. The Minnesota Golden Gophers kicked off their 2015-2016 season by finishing 14th as a team in their annual Gopher Invitational. Freshman Tom Vining led the Gophers by finishing fifth in his first ever college tournament. The Gophers first and second ranked players Jon DuToit and Jose Mendez finished 71st and 39th respectively. The Gophers play in 14 tournaments this year, so there is lots of time to improve and get ready for postseason play in the spring!
