There was a Pheasant Forever hunt in Saint James on Saturday, October 17th. They had a guy talking about turkey hunting, a guy talking about trapping, and all the laws. They also had pistils that you could shoot 9mm; they taught you how to make your own lures. Later, you all got to have lunch. You had a group of five people that went out to pheasant hunt, and you had two guys and two dogs. They put out seven to eight birds for us to shoot. Our group shot six of them and missed two. One of us got to take home two pheasants while some of the others only got to take home one. Later, when we got back, we were taught how to skin pheasants, and one of the pheasants that I shot is going to be mounted in my room. To apply, you read something in the newspaper, then email the person in charge and they send you sheets in the mail. You then have to fill them out. When you are done filling them out, you send them back in the mail.
