The boys basketball season is well under way already as the team has already played five games this season. The Indians have two wins and three losses so far this season, with 2 of the losses coming by a combined five points. The Indians have beaten cross-town rival St. Mary’s and BLH so far this season. Their losses have come against very experienced and skilled teams in Lester Prairie, Murray County Central, and Madelia. The Indians have a big schedule coming up before winter break. This week, the Indians take on the Loyola Crusaders, GFW Thunderbirds, and RRC Falcons. The Indians have played very well in a few games this season, mainly because of balanced scoring and good team play. The Indians have four players that can consistently score in double figures, which provides lots of options for offense. The Indians have a bright future for the rest of this season, and will hopefully make a playoff push when the time comes.
