This Thursday, the New Ulm Eagles Varsity hockey team will travel to Redwood to face the Cardinals for their first playoff hockey game. At the first meeting these two teams had, the Eagles beat the Cardinals 8-1. In the second meeting, the Eagles lost 4-5 in overtime. The Eagles have had a few key losses this season placing them behind Redwood, this includes Litchfield(up 5-1 in the third period), Lesuer, St. Peter, and Redwood. The game is at 7:30 at the Redwood Community Center, and if the Eagles win, they play Saturday at 7:30 at Gustavus College.
