Outdoor hockey has been around for decades. Rinks can be put up anywhere the weather is cold enough. Friends can get together and have fun or play an organized game. Today, in the NHL, they have an outdoor game called the Winter Classic. A couple of years ago, the NHL introduced the Stadium Series. People have been playing on outdoor ice for many years, and they will continue to play on outdoor ice for many years to come.
