The baseball season kicks off for the Indians on March 21st. Last year, the Indians lost to Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s to end their season by just one run. This year, the Indians will have ten seniors. Some of the seniors have been playing on the varsity team since 8th grade, and experience is key for this years team. They also have great depth on the team with many sophomores pushing for a varsity spot. Last year the only players on varsity from that grade were Avery S and Carter B. The team lost Matt B who graduated last year. Matt was a great player, a key center fielder, a great hitter, and he also made the all state baseball team. Towards the end of the year, Matt had an injury in his leg forcing him to just be the designated hitter. That is when the freshmen Carter B got called up to varsity. Pitching will not be an issue on this year's squad as the main pitchers will be Dylan K, Austin F, Avery S, Miquaes A, and Sam T.
