The other night I watched The Dark Knight Rises. After many recommendations from my friends, I finally watched it. I was at the edge of my seat throughout the film. (I was actually in my bed but who cares?) I was very impressed, thinking that maybe Christopher Nolan wouldn’t deliver. He made the last movie of the trilogy the best by far. Bane was a great villain; I feel he was better than the Joker and Scarecrow from the other two movies. Christian Bale portrayed Bruce Wayne fantastically. He did in the other two but this performance was near perfect. It was kind of a bad ending, but I feel it will just make the next Batman movies even better. I saw in the news the other day that Ben Affleck will be our next Batman. I feel they could’ve picked someone way better. He is a good actor but I don’t think he can play Batman. I can’t see him playing an emotional and action-filled Batman that we have had before. Back to the review, I give this movie a ten out of ten star rating. I recommend it to anyone that loves superhero or just action-packed films.
