Vikings Vs. Bears

The Vikings had a tough loss on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. The Vikings started out on a positive note with a kickoff return, which was ran back for a touchdown by Cordarrelle Patterson. Christian Ponder had 227 passing yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception. Adrian Peterson had 100 yards on 26 attempts. Greg Jennings had 84 receiving yards on 5 receptions. Kyle Rudolph had 42 receiving yards on 3 receptions with 1 touchdown.


Jay Cutler lead a final-minute drive a beat the Vikings by 1 point. With 10 seconds left, Jay Cutler threw a touchdown to Martellus Bennett to tie the game. Then the extra point the Bears up by 1. Jay Cutler was 28/39 with 290 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. The leading rusher was Matt Forte who had 90 yards on 19 carries. The leading receivers were Brandon Marshall and Martellus Bennett who both had 7 catches.

The 2-0 Bears travel to Pittsburgh next week to take on the struggling Steelers. The winless Vikings will have to play better next game if they want to beat the Browns on Sunday.
