Blockbuster will finally be closing down its last 300 retail stores across the country. Also, the “Netflix-style” disc-by-mail will also close down. CEO Joseph Clayton had said, “This is not an easy decision, yet consumer demand is clearly moving to digital distribution of video entertainment. Both the mail in service and retail stores will shut down by early January 2014.
