Today is Scarlett Johansson’s 29th birthday. She gained fame with her roles in The Avengers, North, and Lost in the Translation, for which she won a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a leading role. She made her film debut at the age of nine in the film North. She starred in Lost in the Translation alongside Bill Murray. She also played Black Widow alongside Robert Downey Jr. in The Avengers. She married Ryan Reynolds in September of 2008, and the couple divorced in July of 2001.
