Wolves Start Season 5-3

Last week, the Timberwolves split the four games they played. They beat the New York Knicks and the Dallas Mavericks, and they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.
   
In the game against the Knicks, Kevin Love had 34 points and 15 rebounds. Kevin Martin had 30 points. Ricky Rubio had 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 10 assists. The Wolves hit 10 of 27 3-pointers. The Wolves scored 40 points in the 1st quarter, got out to a 21 point lead early, and won the game 109-100.
   
In the Cleveland game, the Timberwolves lost 93-92. Kevin Love had 17 points and 13 rebounds. Kevin Martin led the team with 23 points. Despite trailing big after three quarters, the Wolves rallied late, but Kevin Love missed the game winning 3 with no time left.
   
Against the Golden State Warriors, the Wolves lost 106-93. Klay Thompson had 30 points for the Warriors. That was the key to their win. For the Wolves, Kevin Love had 25 points and 16 rebounds. Kevin Martin had 23 points. Ricky Rubio had 7 points and 7 assists. Corey Brewer also had a nice game with 18 points.
   
Against the Dallas Mavericks, the Timberwolves won 116-108. Kevin Love and Kevin Martin both had 32 points. Kevin Love also added 15 rebounds. Corey Brewer had another nice game with 17 points and 4 assists. After the first 2 weeks of the season, the Timberwolves are 4-2.
