I saw my favorite band for the first time last summer on July 21, 2013 in Shakopee, MN at a music festival called Warped Tour. Warped Tour hosts different genres of music mostly based around the set of rock or metal. August Burns Red have five albums as of now, plus some singles. They are based from Lancaster, PA in 2003. They are a metal-core band with five musicians. Jake Luhrs is their vocalist, JB Brubaker is their lead guitarist, Brent Rambler is the rhythm guitarist, Dustin Davidson is the bassist, and Matt Greiner as their drummer. I personally met all of them and got pictures with JB, Jake, and Matt. Their music may emotionally help people, but my look at it is for the pure brutal sound they produce. Their signature songs are “Meddle”, “Empire”, “Composure”, “Fault Line’, and “White Washed’. I recommend this band for anyone who is looking into metal or screamo music.
