Recently, Mac Miller tweeted a music video in which he featured in. Immediately I downloaded the song without listening to it because I have scored big on songs by doing that before. The best part about this time was that it happened again. I love the song! I sing it constantly. A rap duo named The Come Up sings the song and Mac features in their song. The song is called “Strip Show.” The content of the song is rather vulgar, but the way The Come Up sings is amazing. I have described their voices as a cool drink of water in the middle of a desert.
I then began listening to more and more of their songs. I have liked every single one of them. So, I asked myself, “Why would Mac Miller sing with a group that is almost unknown?” I found out that The Come Up is from Pittsburgh as well, so the 3 must’ve met through Pittsburgh’s rap scene. The Come Up is a great group and they sound amazing. I really hope that Mac Miller promotes them so they will be heard more, but now I will do my part in promoting them and tell you to listen to them because they are absolutely amazing!
