Exciting Baseball

The Indians were playing MVL, who got hot during the playoffs and were throwing their best pitcher against the Indians. That did not stop the Indians in the first inning scoring a few. Indians started Austin F on his first start of the season, second appearance he finished with 6 strikeouts. The Indians had the lead the whole game until the last inning when MVL tied the game up and then took the lead at 5-6; that was at the top of the 7th, but the Indians still had a shot to win it. This is how it went: The inning started off with Sam H beating out a throw, followed by Austin F sacrificing himself bunting down the first baseline, and Sam got to second. Then Alex B came up to bat and smoked a double to right center giving himself a double. The speedy Jacob R. came up from JV and ran for Alex. Now up to bat is Kolten, first was a past ball so Jacob advanced to 3rd base. Now Kolten hits a slow roller to the shortstop but he got thrown out, Jacob stayed there. Next to bat is Marc R, who looks at a couple pitches and finds the one he loves so he strokes and pokes it down the left field line for a walk off win; the game finished off as an Indians win 7-6. They move to 1-2 overall and conference play.
