The Golden Tabby tiger is extremely endangered. There are only about 30 or fewer of these animals left in the world. The fur is thicker and softer than other tigers’ fur, and they are also known as strawberry tigers. The Golden Tabby tiger is usually considered bigger than a Bengal tiger. When two golden tigers mate their offspring is usually white and there are only in captivity to be studied. The first ever Golden Tabby tiger was born in captivity and came from two Bengal tigers at the arctic animal attractions in Florida in 1983. Both of the parents carried the color variation, but neither of these parents showed it.
