*What are your team expectations this year?
Justine- My team expectations this year are to play to our full potential and show that all the work in the summer paid off. Going into the season, I think everyone would agree we are one of the top contenders to look out for.
Mckayla- We are hoping to play together as a team, like we are a family, and hopefully take it to the next level and go far.
*As seniors/team captains of the team, how do you think this season will go?
Justine- I think the season will be a fun one this year. We only lost one senior last year so we have a lot of experience returning to the court. It is going to go very well for us this year.
Mckayla- I think this season will be a fun one to end off on. Our team this year is fun, outgoing, and is a talented group. We will go out every game expecting to win. No matter if we win or lose we do it as a team.

*Who do you think will be competition this year?
Justine- The competition this year will be Springfield and MVL. Springfield has a lot of girls that played a great amount of minutes last year. MVL lost a lot of guards but their posts are the nucleus of the team.
Mckayla- I think Springfield and MVL will be some tough games for us because in the past years against them it’s always been an even match up.

*Who are you looking forward to playing this year?
Justine- This year I’m looking forward to playing Minneota in our Holiday Classic held at SMSU. They are a great group of players. It’ll show where we stand as a team after we play them.
Mckayla- I am also looking forward to seeing how we compete against Minneota. It should be a big step up and test for us. We want to go out to that game with confidence, playing in the next level, because we know we have the potential to beat this team.
*Is there a good amount of girls going out for this basketball season?
Justine- I think we have a very good amount of well rounded girls coming out this year. A lot of us put a great amount of work into the summer.

Mckayla- We have a good amount of talented and well rounded group of girls playing this year. All the players on the team put in plenty of time in order to get better.
