The rivalry between the Giants and Eagles go so far back that most people don't know when it started. It goes so far back to when baseball started. When they play each other, it's always electric, and in football, it's the same thing but with a lot more people watching them fight for yards. Their athletic players fight for every yard at every game. Their plays are always tight, even on the defensive side of things. They also love to prove to each other who is better, because last year they tied and went even 1-1 game. Someday, one of them will have to win both games. The last time it happened was in 1968. Since then, they always went out to do their best against each other. When they play each other, it is always very exciting and very frustrating on the losing side since New Yorkers love to come down there and say “ha ha we beat you guys”. When that happens, the fights break out but someone always breaks it up. However, it’s usually the big guys that breaks the fight up or it ends with the big guy getting a knockout punch from a guy on the other side.
The Eagles and Giants are the most electric because they have the most electric players of all time. Desean Jackson and Eli Manning, for example, always make big plays when it's needed for the team for excitement or to cheer them up. They need big players like them to make a team great. You have to be with them for a while to make them look great. Brian Westbrook is a great example because he will always be one of the best pass runners in the league and no one can surpass him on that, not even Adrian Peterson. There is no big names in the NFL, you have to make your name heard like Brian Westbrook. He made big plays, even on the run, but mainly pass plays he was always the greatest at that. Even Randy Moss can vouch for that; every time they played against each other, they gave respect to each other because both of them were the best in the NFL at that time. Randy Moss showed Brian Westbrook respect because of how good he was at that age. He was mainly a leader to his teammates and fellow buddies and his whole team respected him and his abilities to lead the team to victory. He also lead them to the playoffs two times in a row until they needed a new QB and that lead to their downfall from there. But, the next year they went 2 and 0 to their rival team and that’s what matters. When you want improvement to your team, you go 2 and 0 against them and show them what you got.
