On October 22, the YES! Team went to their annual fall summit. This year was jam packed with tons of fun activities! Upon arriving, we discussed some of our ongoing projects and covered areas where we have had success and areas we need to work on. It was very interesting to see the other cool projects that some of the other teams have been working on. We saw everything from greenhouses to even a solar car! We then discussed where we can get better community support and how we can get Sleepy Eye to become more involved. The afternoon activities included students participating in things such as The Flying Squirrel, The Rock Climb Wall and Initiative Games! The whole day was a great experience! We got to share our ideas with others, gain new ideas from teams in return, and bond together as a team! It’s never too late to make an impact! Feel free to share your ideas with us and join YES!
