Staying home with my garden and my grandchildren.

I grow flowers, read, and I like to go on walks.
What do you like most about teaching as a career?
The children. You never know what to expect.
What is your least favorite aspect of teaching?
Correcting papers.
What role do standards play in your classroom?
A huge part; I need to make sure everybody knows and understands them.
Describe your teaching style.
All over the place. I’ll do anything to make sure you understand what we are talking about. If I have to stand on a table or desk just to help you learn it, I will.
How do you organize your classroom?
Objectives for the day, standards, and an interesting room.
How do you structure your time to manage all of the duties associated with teaching?
Get here at 6 am or earlier and keep a list to know what I need done.
What is the greatest success you have had in teaching?
Graduation Day- If every child makes it to that day, it means the teacher did their job.
