The Girls Varsity Hockey team had a good season this year. We were a young team with only one senior. Our overall record was 19-8. We won the Big South Conference with a record of 13-1. We were also lucky enough the make it to state! This was our 7th consecutive year. Our first game at state was on Wednesday, February 18th at 6:00 pm against Thief River Falls, who were ranked 1st in the state. We lost 1-5, but played very well. Our next game was on Thursday, February 19th at 12:00 pm against Hibbing. It ended up being a tough overtime loss 2-3. It was difficult playing a very challenging competition, but it was still very fun and an unforgettable experience. Hopefully we can make it there next year!
