This year started the season with a game against Sibley East, away at Gaylord. JV and Varsity both had a game. It was JV’s first time playing against Sibley East, so we did not know what to expect from them. We warmed up, of course, and we were first to bat. After the 5th inning, the score was Indians: 5 Sibley East: 1. JV did a great job at batting and an amazing job on the field. We got a home run hit, and they gave us an extra point. The score was now 6-1. It was the end of the 5th inning, beginning of the 6th, when Sibley East got 2 runs on us. We stayed focus though and got the pop fly to end the game with the score of 9-3. This season we are going to work as hard as we can and give it all we got at every game to do the best we can.
