Black Forest By: Anna L

The Black Forest is in Germany. Don't let the name fool you, it’s very beautiful and a great place to adventure. The forest sits at the southwest corner of the state of Baden-Wurttemberg. It borders France, Switzerland, and the Neckar river. The forest got its name from the large amount of pine trees which causes it to look dark. However, the town in the center of the Black Forest claims to receive more hours of sunshine than any other town in the nation. If you are a nature lover, the Black Forest is the place to go.
