One day, during Christmas vacation, my doghouse burned down while I was at basketball practice. I was only gone for two hours, but when I got back it was completely burned to the ground. We had a polydome over our doghouse and a kennel around the polydome. We had a heat lamp to keep my dog warm, and that is probably what caused the fire. The flames were so hot, it melted the polydome and everything in it. The kennel was charred, and the tree branches above it were charred. The fire was only about 30 feet from the house; the house could have burned down! Luckily we let the dog out before we left, otherwise she would’ve been dead.
